We owe our military members and their families a debt of gratitude, and want to ensure that they receive the high-quality, accessible health care that they deserve.
Nearly two million U.S. veterans and their families depend on Medicaid to receive quality care, like routine checkups and mental health services. The Modern Medicaid Alliance has been actively educating policymakers and the public about the value of Medicaid to veterans and their families.

Additionally, the Alliance has been active facilitating meetings with veterans and their elected officials. For example, Governor Steve Bullock joined veterans, along with local health care and business leaders to discuss the positive impact of the Medicaid program on the state of Montana. The meeting was convened by the Modern Medicaid Alliance and focused on the value of Medicaid to the state health care system, economy, and diverse populations across Montana.
